too late for this?

lost a big part of my photos because my phone went cuckoo, I think I lamented about it before, but that was last year. so here's my review of 2013, all based on my Instagram photos, since that's where my life seems the most happening apart from this blog. haha.

January was nothing much
just final exams
and going home =)

Chinese New Year was all about gatherings and catching ups, I miss my ladies already

also the last year we have popo with us, things will never ever be the same again.
on a brighter note, we're celebrating this year's CNY away from home, Thailand to be exact. =D sorry but I am really excited even with the ongoing protests. =X

and in February, I managed to achieve this. T.T
New Year Resolution 2014, I know I can do it again.

got our first ever Instax =D
I love how the polaroid photos seem to be more precious since the films aren't really cheap and we save it for special occasions or places. I dunno about you, but it makes me cherish the memories behind the photos even more.

MAYDAY concert!!
I remember how crazy I went, shouting even when I was having a horrible condition with my throat or vocal cord or whatever.

I always thought my first concert would be Jay Chou. T.T
ONE DAY, ONE DAY I WILL.

first trip of 2013 was a road trip to Sepang Gold Coast

flew a kite
jumped a lot
took tons of photos

but so much has changed

when Mr Teoh grows old.
haha.


joined the PKC
and formed stronger ties with certain friends

stupidly joined the badminton match by Karnival Sukan Kinabalu
gained a whole new experience
(that's what people say when they fail to win anything haha)

joined Race of the Fittest
you should have seen how hard we trained

speaking of which, shit, I totally forgot about our stamina training for the upcoming race!!!!

college dinner for the second time.
I have a lovely boyfriend who is willing to let me wear his shoes

May 05
I missed my first ever chance to make a change

instead, I went to Teluk Intan
and got myself a new pair of shoes for RM10.
haha.
I have quite a lot of best buys of the year!

joined the 24 season drum class and got the chance to wear uniform again, although I have never actually worn a uniform that's white all over. the notion itself brought back so much memories, how I wish to go back to my secondary school years and relive those carefree years over and over again.

catching the hipster trend we got, no, more like I got infinity bracelets.
but the colour of the strings have faded so much they now look crappy.

second trip was to Pangkor with the TESLians.
I am forever grateful for the lecturer who decided that we should have a relaxing trip before our finals.

which happened to be the best final timetable so far
with only 2 days of exam. haha.

went home and fell in love with Yaoyao.
I'm glad popo got to see her before she left us.
instant mood booster =)

continued exercising
the tummy was still in a pretty good condition

and I seriously have no idea what happened.. T.T

had my very first ESL classroom exposure
and went back to Sharing to work

and for the very first time, we flew together
I finally landed my feet on Taiwan, the island I have dreamt and yearned to to over and over again.

but the trip was cut short.
I owe a very big thank you to Mr Teoh who went back home together with us and helped a lot. he could have chosen to stay in Taiwan and continue the journey but he left with us and gave so much support T.T

won the Nuffnang movie tickets for 2 times!
although it wasn't me who got to watch for both times. ==

it's just that I never had the luck with such competitions before!
but those were the only two times, I tried again but failed since then on. lol

which is what really matters!

also joined PTUM as a dancer.
never a talented dancer but I had so much fun

2013 was another year of losing and gaining.
I don't really know what else there is to hope for
apart from the well being of the ones I care for

maybe the two papers this morning took all ideas and words out of me.

but one thing for sure is that my life is so much better because of everyone around me, and I am thankful for that. wishing you a good night's sleep and a good year ahead.

I am thankful for...

Being away from home, I am aware of how used I am to staying outside, living my own life that I forget about mummy's wish for me to call everyday, even if there is nothing to say. Videos on how our parents are growing older as we grow up have never ceased to appear on Facebook. as lazy as I am, I would still, occasionally click into the links and shed some tears, and start missing home. Then, I would call home for a long talk which makes me feel refreshed after hanging up. 

so you should probably have guessed by now that I am really thankful for my mummy who is like a friend to me. she is crazy and sings silly songs with me, she is supportive and was my rock a few years back when I got myself into shit, she is also very cute at times especially when she asks me questions about how Facebook works, whether or not people can see what she likes or what she comments, although maybe 6 out of 10 times, I get annoyed and impatient =X. 

I will always remember 3 years back when I got my very first smartphone before entering university because my not so faithful K810i wasn't really fit to continue serving me. I was really in dilemma because I wanted to get Galaxy S which seemed a good enough phone for me, but SII was just launched and everything of it seemed so much better. the thing was, it was almost RM2000 and I couldn't really bear the thought of having my parents spend so much on a PHONE for goodness sake. they would always think twice when buying something for themselves, and most of the time, they shop only when there is sales going on. RM2000 could buy 6 of the Nokia phone they were using at that time. I was still hesitating but daddy and mummy made the choice for me, and there, I got my SII, still loyally serving me today =D

then, as time passed, more and more people had smartphones and tablets. but stuck with her old phone since she is VERY VERY careless, mummy would constantly tell me how shy she is to take out her phone during gatherings because her friends are all swiping away. so, the last time I was at home, daddy finally got mummy her smartphone, and now, my mummy can swipe swipe swipe as well! =D

and we have been more in touch because she'll whatsapp me photos of life at home

they have fruits for dinner, they went out with baby yaoyao =D

and she happily got herself a new outfit in the year end sale

and guess what, just recently, daddy also chucked his old phone for a smartphone

and has now a Facebook account as well =D

they planned to get a tablet at first but thought a smartphone was more practical

guess technology does sometimes bring people closer as well? heehee.

haven't called home since last year, haha. gonna do it tomorrow once I wake up.

Whee, first post of the brand new 2014! harro! =D
As we usher in the new year, I happily add in another year to my relationship. In case you didn't already know it, we started on January 1st 2012.

The firework was actually taken in Publika when I went for the New Year's countdown with friends, but that's another story for another day.

And so, it'll be about our 2nd anniversary dinner today.

Mr Teoh is really busy, having to juggle among work, studies, final exam and a cute girlfriend *ahem* who can be annoying (NO) and demanding (NO) at times.

he was being secretive about the place he planned to bring me to

but I guess sometimes he is quite predictable hehehe.

oh and Mr Teoh, there is no Three Little Pigs in Paradigm mall, XD

and me, stubborn fats. haha 

we had a Caesar salad to start
maybe our new year resolution is a healthier lifestyle.

but you know, there was this Nutella milkshake which caught both our attention... 

err. *shifty eyes* hahaha.
the salad was quite disappointing T.T

cream based spaghetti.
I think it was The Wolf's Favourite or something along that.
what attracted me was only the poached egg I saw in the description. I wonder and wonder how they manage to poach an egg.

and I totally forget the name of this, but as you can see it is a burger. haha. and Mr Teoh rates this 3rd yummiest burger after Kissaten and Carl's Junior, or was it burger lab? never mind. lol.

feeling beautiful because the lighting there made me look radiant

(not mentioning the mask, the aloe vera gel and the blusher I applied hahaha)

that's how I roll. haha.

received a cute shirt and capsule Rilakkuma (candy-cane was for Christmas =D)

and a handmade scarf, not by him of course, haha.
