The life of a pathetic final year student

I have finally taken the first step: sit my ass down and start writing

it isn't even a thesis, just a piece of academic writing

and I've just checked, ha! final submission date is 12/06/2015

I hope I'm wrong though, I've heard 19/06/2015 from friends

yesterday wasn't fruitful, and it was so frustrating

ahhh, the heavy weight of extreme procrastination

it's 12:16, there is no water supply, and I am feeling hungry. haha.

allow me to repeat myself, I can't believe it's already December.

it seems like just yesterday Mdm. Zuwati told us about this project we were supposed to carry out

I remember us getting excited about having our kids over, also us planning to raise fund and all that

I remember the last minute test run, and the frustration of not having all members present

and then suddenly poof it was the day, and then it's already a day after the day.

this was taken 2.00am on the event day when we have finally settled and double confirmed everything

all the brainstorming and continuous work did feel like practical all over again

and I kinda miss those times, at least I was productive hahaha

still very childish. pika pika.

out of all 5 teams, two were my students! you cannot imagine how good it was seeing them again

my station. they were supposed to kick the sandal in the buckets to pick categories to answer and form a line, just like tic-tac-toe. but kicking was really hard.

my first day as a trainee teacher in SMJK Catholic

here's to a hopefully colourful 10 weeks.

when I look back and reflect, the tough times have all passed without me realizing

I know this will be challenging, I am not sure how capable I am

but I can do this, I might stumble I might cry I might get overwhelmed by stress

but someday I will look back again and be shocked it passed and I did it.

I am stronger than I believe. =).

a new friend from the one who never fails to make me smile

and who is equally good at getting onto my nerves. haha thank you love.

LEARNING TO SAY NO.

a few days ago, I heard from someone (I sincerely forgot who GOSH I am getting old T.T)

that if you continue doing something for 21 days, it will become a habit.

so that's why I keep sleeping la? I have been doing so for the past 21 years. hahaha.

OKAY, SO, in view of my expanding waistline (/.\) and also for my health

I HAVE DECIDED TO CUT DOWN MY ICE-CREAM AND COLD DESSERTS INTAKE

I know I tried restricting myself to one treat per month, but I failed big time

let's just hope by totally saying no for 3 weeks, I can stand strong against this addiction of mine =(

maybe I'll just continue this series of shoes because they really bring back so many lovely memories!

but right now, about 9 hours before my first final exam for the 2nd year 2nd sem

all I wanna do is go somewhere far far away and relax

preferably without the haze.

time flies, it's already day four, and exam is going to start like finally.

got a new pair of shoes which I will never have gotten in my whole life if not for today

no I cannot risk my legs getting fat just because I stood for hours to earn some pocket money

everyone is packing and going home

and I am 3 more papers, 4 working days, and 10 days away from home

the earlier buoyant feeling is replaced by sien-ness

lol. I wanna go home!!!

so this is THE pair of shoes which I can't seem to throw away

it has brought me around Kuching and KL

brought me to Guilin

and even overcame the jungle trekking in Kela camp which I very much dreaded

I thought after it got dirty after the camp I would've just chucked it out

but here it is still

standing proud beside all the other shoes of mine

oh, I have 9 pair of shoes here! hahahha

a step closer to being a centipede.

since it was shoes yesterday I thought might as well continue the whole challenge with shoes lol

I don't think I blogged about this but here's my RM10 shoes bought from Teluk Intan haha

the reason I love taking shoes photos is because to me, they signify a journey. every pair of my shoes have brought me to different places, and some, different phases of life. there is this one pair which I love so much that I just can't bring myself to throw away. is this because I'm being very faithful to my shoes? HAHA, or simply because the pair of shoes is really pretty?

I'm not sure.
I'm lost.

remember me telling how excited and nervous I was for ROF?

saw this post at the event page and I immediately screenshot it and inboxed Huiwen my teammate

and the file name was ohno.jpg because these guys are too strong

I even had a nightmare when it was just the two of us and we hadn't decided on who else to ask to join our team. that night, I dreamt that two of our weakest friends were in our team, and I woke up feeling relieved because it was just a dream. yes, the very classic 幸好只是一场梦 haha.

we were totally prepared with energy bars, bread, 100 plus, water and even panadols. haha

and as the most semangat team, we walked down to gazebo from our college at 6.30am

fyi, the registration starts only at 8am. @@

and this, is our final team.

then it was crazy running moments

let me just briefly show you our route and how we reached there =D

Gazebo KPS -- LRT University station (running) -- Dataran Petaling Jaya (LRT) -- KLCC (LRT) -- Chatime Galleria (running) -- Central Market + Petaling Street (LRT + running + walking) -- LRT University (LRT) -- Dataran Sains UM (bus + running) -- Gazebo KPS (running)

there were moments where we were so tired we felt like dying haha but still we finished the race

and got the 15th out of 33 groups

BUT WE COULD HAVE DONE SO MUCH BETTER, AT LEAST A TOP TEN!!

long story, it was our fault tho, too careless that we wasted so much time at the first station T.T

back in Gazebo. I think we lost a kg with all that running but got darker because the sun was killing

oh did I mention we also brought sunblock and applied while waiting for LRT hahaha 

the Kolam which we had to complete in Dataran Sains. not bad huh XD

one week back

one week ago I was still enjoying my carefree holiday!

I find curling in the bean bag with a nice book and a cup of milk really relaxing.

A Dog's Purpose is a seriously nice book which unexpectedly caused me to cry lol.

got this pair of purple Puma for the sake of ROF lol

and also the jogging trips to come (hopefully)

had our stamina training (HAHAHA serious gila) -- swimming on Monday, Jogoya break on Tuesday XD, and jogging on Wednesday, Thursday and lastly, SHOPPING on Friday lol.

I cannot wait anymore!! Saturday fast come =D

harrow. one photo a day doesn't mean one blog post a day right.

so here are my days 10 and 11. XD

or sleepy to be more accurate. I just can't get myself to stop sleeping whenever I have the time! T.T

and well I cheated because I've taken some photos at home.

I call this the collection of our memories.

I remember collecting stamps, paper bags, boxes, and erasers before, but the urge to continue collecting, especially stamps eventually died out as I grew up.

hello a very good night. flying off again tomorrow.

the very awkward feeling of packing for home, unpacking at home, and packing again to leave home.

day 7 and I really can't think of something sparkling other than sparkling juice

I don't have diamonds, hence the excessive edits with sparkles.

I told myself I should get started with my literature review for the stupid research

from Monday I dragged on to Wednesday night when I finally decided I should totally start on Thursday

but it's already Friday night and nothing is done.

maybe if i were paid for procrastinating, I might actually be rich enough to shoot diamonds for today instead of sparkling juice in a random mall. lol. okay I just googled the sample of a literature review, shall start something like right now ==.

day 6

the dress I once loved at first sight and had to persuade my mum to buy, is now my mum's pajamas

so it seems something we care about so much would eventually be so insignificant

because time changes, situation changes, and we change.

so why suffer so much over something which will pass?

EH BUT JAY CHOU THIS THING I CANNOT JUST LET IT PASS

I SHOULD TOTALLY STAY CLEAR FROM ALL SOCIAL MEDIA FROM 2ND AUGUST TO 4TH AUGUST AND GOD KNOWS HOW MANY DAYS AFTER THAT, I THINK I'LL DIE FROM ALL THE POSTS ABOUT HIS CONCERT!!!

unlike some Kuchingites who think that hometown is about kolomee, i prefer laksa

I know I have been saying this for so many times, but here I go again, I LOVE LAKSA lol.

and of course le lovely family and friends la. XD

but as you see, I don't have much friends =( hahahha.

the ice melts so fast, and the taroballs, which they call QQ balls just didn't taste nice.

hence, come Kuching eat laksa jiu haole =P
