Batu Pahat Food Hunt 2.0

this is me trying to fully utilize the WiFi when there is. haha.
second time to Batu Pahat, I initially planned to rot in KL for the whole Raya break and maybe go around by myself when I feel like it but thanks to kind friends and sporting coursemates, my week will be packed with fun, food and maybe even some nice photos. =D
drawback of being a trainee teacher is that you get called back to school for extracurricular activities
and in my case, I waited for an hour, sitting on the staircase, for a group of students who never appeared.
I was seriously pissed off, but it's okay, because my holiday was about to start.
btw, am I the only one who think that I look really un-me up there?

after a surprisingly smooth journey, 曼煎糕/apam balik which still tastes as nice!

didn't get to eat any egg tarts, but the colour combination is so nice I must take a photo
my Asian tourist mode was on full blast.

otak-otak

Three layer tea, which fyi, originates from Kuching. thank you.

roti canai made by Chinese. this is so nice because it is thin and a bit more crispy/crunchy/whatever.
just nice la, haha, and totally worth the more than half an hour wait.
not sure if it is because of the holiday, most of the places we went were full of people and we had to wait

Fishball noodles
I don't really love noodles but this was good, the noodles were not too soft and there was this hint of spiciness which made it so unique, nom nom

meet Momo the dog who is super manja

and Rocky. don't be deceived by the size and innocent look, he bites!

err. and talking Tom the cat. haha

also, for the second time, I played mahjong
and they call it newbie luck, I won RM8.

and then.. Dak Gaelbi in Chingooya, which is really similar to Uncle Jang.
I think I am addicted.

went to Ice Town. peanut butter chocolate (right) is da bomb!

I know I should probably stop taking cold food if I don't wanna suffer a couple of weeks later

deep fried nian gao, where I learned never ever to judge a food by it's cover.

this is a big cup of fruit juice, but it seems my hand is too big to show just how big this cup is. haha

Duck noodles.

and we went to Ice Town again. you know how chocolate and banana can never go wrong right?

and I've finally finish our unfinished business in Batu Pahat: to eat the Super Mango in Ice Town,
only to find out that Hui Lau Shan is so much better. haha.

Otak bread

allow me to sidetrack, don't you think my SII's camera quality is still really good? =D
I only did some minor enhancement on the contrast and saturation!

err.. and some filter. lol

breakfast this morning was meat porridge.
again, do not judge by the look, it is totally not plain and boring!

lastly, just in case you forgot my face. haha
my hair is getting more and more like grass.

here comes the question: to cut or not to cut?
*tears hair*
