what the fudge.

heyo heyo XD i have so much to blog about my own life now when will i ever start the second post about weiqi and junjie's trip here? haha. maybe i'll just leave it until i really have the mood to tell you someone else's story. lalala. i'm in such a baking mood recently that we baked Fudgey Brownies yesterday. =D

i saw the recipe from a blog and was excited because it seemed super easy!
750g baking chocolate.
it took forever to cut the whole big chunk into these small pieces T.T
that's for easier melting by the way.

150g of self-rising flour
and 300g of sugar

200g of butter

and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence and 3 eggs

first you melt the chocolate by double boiling. and also the butter
we were very lazy and because it takes so much time so we put everything into the microwave oven. haha

and you see now it looks like Nutella omg.

then, add in the vanilla essence, self-rising flour and eggs. remember to sieve your flour beforehand, unless you want it all chunky.

mix well until the batter does not stick to the mixing bowl/ pot in  my case haha

da bian. haha.

it's best if you line your baking tray with baking paper/ aluminium foil because it's kinda hard to remove the brownie.

then you bake it in a preheated oven at 160`C for 40 minutes to 1 hour.
then VOILA! you get your brownie =D

i was so disappointed because the whole brownie was flooded with oil. Miss Kero even asked if i copied wrongly that only 20g of butter was needed instead of 200g. =(
but turns out her friend also experienced the same thing when baking brownie.

too bad we have no almond or other nuts at home
don't you think chocolate goes best with nuts?

the outcome was not bad
just too sweet.
and i don't think i'll attempt brownies again
takes too much work T.T
and why so oily? =(
